On Friday January 20 we hear from the Alzheimer's Association about the latest research and treatment. Formed in 1980, the Alzheimer's Association advances research to end Alzheimer's and dementia while enhancing care for those living with the disease.
The primary focus of our presentation was Bison sports, one of the companies owned by IMSCORP.
IMSCORP was founded by high school friends Nick Cusick and Elmer Wessel . They’ve been in business for over 35 years, and have been recognized by industry experts as an efficient manufacturer–and one that’s right here in our backyard.
A traditional part of our high school scholarship awards is that we provide gift bags to the finalists and their school counselors.
We need a coordinator for these gift bags. If we do not have a coordinator we will drop the gift bag aspect of the scholarship program. This year the scholarships will be awarded in April.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) in District 5650 is a weekend camp program. This year it will be April 7 (noon) to April 9 (noon) at Camp Kitaki in Louisville. RYLA programs focus on leadership and provide an opportunity for the participants to practice what they have learned.
Dave Dietz announced that they are looking for participants (Sophomores and Juniors) and recruiting volunteers for this year's event. If you wish to nominate a student or want to volunteer, contact Dave (click here)..
