We heard from Steve Owens - Superintendent of Water Production for the Lincoln Water System on On Friday March 10,
Steve started by sharing information from a newspaper article in 2015 that addressed water systems nationally titled Drinking Water systems Imperiled by Failing Infrastructure.
The Lincoln South Rotary Club Board has been approached about our meeting day. Is Friday serving our Members and Club well or would there be a benefit to change to Thursday. Lincoln #14 meets on Tuesday and Lincoln East meets on Wednesday.

It is time to sell (or buy) tickets for the Annual Grocery Grab with Russ's. The Grocery Grab is our major source of funds for the Scholarship awards.
Last year the winning ticket benefited Saint Mark's Food Pantry - what a great way to support the programs of Lincoln South Rotary but also the needy in our community.

Donations were made online, pledges were made and direct donations were give to Clay and Pat. In all, they are credited with nearly $1,000 to End Polio Now.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) in District 5650 is a weekend camp program. This year it will be April 7 (noon) to April 9 (noon) at Camp Kitaki in Louisville. RYLA programs focus on leadership and provide an opportunity for the participants to practice what they have learned. Click here for the District 5650 RYLA Website Page.
Lincoln South Rotary supports projects and activities in many ways. We can periodically provide funds through grant programs. There are grants available through the Lincoln South Rotary Club Foundation as well as matching grants through Rotary District 5650.
