The winner of the 2018 Grocery Grab of Lincoln South Rotary Club and Russ's purchased the ticket to donate to The Food Bank of Lincoln and Lancaster County.

 

This is a great result - the purchase of the raffle ticket is helping our community in many ways. The Food Bank gets $1,000 in groceries - imagine the families that will help. And, Lincoln South Rotary Club uses the proceeds of the raffle ticket sales for scholarships to help high school students attend college.

There will not be a meeting at the Venue on April 27.

 

Join us at Russ's 33rd & Hwy 2 for the Grocery Grab. Come early for breakfast in the cafe area. The Grocery Grab starts at 8:00 AM. Russ's opens at 6:30 - come any time - we will not hold a formal meeting. This year the Grab was donated to the Food Bank of Lincoln and Lancaster County.

The drawing for the Grocery Grab was held April 20 at 4:00 PM at Russ's 33rd & Hwy 2. Store Director Jeremy shared the drawing as a LIVE FACEBOOK POST (click here for the store facebook page).. Earlier in the day he posted a LIVE invitation for customers to buy tickets.

 

Grocery Grab Committee Members are in the process of notifying the winner.

 

Lincoln South Rotary Club has many activities, special events and holidays coming up the next couple of months. Watch the website calendar closely for meeting changes. We will not meet at The Venue March 23, March 30, April 20 or April 27. But, we will meet most of those weeks - at an alternate location, time, and/or day. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy Rotary outside of a regular meeting!
