At Lincoln South Rotary Club on November 13, 2015 we heard from Eric Slezak, General Manager of SourceOne. The organization was started by 2 gentlemen in 1971 and does metal fabrication, powder coating as well as custom designing and making specialized machinery. Over the years, several companies have spun off from the original company which include Bison company which makes sports equipment, Industrial Powder Coating and Sign Co which made the signage containment structure for the video boards at the Dallas Cowboy Stadium. They even work with a local artist to fabricate his metal sculptures. In fact they do so many different things that no one department accounts for more than 20% of their business.
Lincoln South Rotary Club heard Todd Tubutis from the Sheldon Memorial Art Museum during the November 6, 2015 meeting.
It was great to hear about the new things going on with Sheldon but also to be reminded of how fortunate we are to have facilities such as this in our community.
Lincoln South Rotary Club will offer Nuts, Candy and Coffee products again this year for the Holidays. With this fundraiser, club members can pre-order products to sell*, or you can just place orders as you make sales.
Orders placed by Noon on Tuesday will be available at Rotary that same Friday. Send orders to nklein2@neb.rr.com. Though we focus our Nut Sales efforts during the Holidays, the products are available at any time at the Fundraiser prices.
