 The Lincoln South Rotary Club Foundation is taking applications for a $1,000 grant to be awarded later in August. Applications are due August 4, 2016 by 5:00 PM.
Grants awarded through the Lincoln South Rotary Foundation are given to 501(c)3 organizations generally focusing on youth and education.
All club members are encouraged to discuss these opportunities with organizations that might benefit from these grants.

Mourning Hope Camp Erin was selected as the recipient of the $1,000 grant from the Lincoln South Rotary Club Foundation.
The club got a view of the new Rotary Exchange Banners. Anyone who is traveling and is considering attending Rotary while away should take a banner to exchange. It is a great way to get comfortable at another club. See Nicki for banners.
Wayne shared great stories and beautiful picture of his time at the Rotary International Convention in Seoul South Korea held May 28 through June 1. 
We learned on Friday that Lincoln South Rotary Club was again recognized as one of the top-performing clubs in Rotary District 5650.
Lincoln South Rotary will partner with other Rotary Clubs in the area for our annual Strike Out Polio with Rotary and the Lincoln Saltdogs evening. The event is Thursday, August 25.
