Ben Higgins, Watershed Management Division Manager for the City of Lincoln Public Works and Utilities Department provided us with an overview of the latest Stormwater Improvement Bond Issue.
The 2016 Stormwater Improvement Bond issue was approved by votes last May. The amount is $6.3 million. These bond issues are critical to our systems as these projects are not funded with impact fees or taxes. There have been a number of bond issues in the past and all since 1980 have been approved.
Lincoln South Rotary Club President 2015-16 Clay Ehlers presented Sue O'Connell with a thank you gift for her service. Sue completed her term as Member of the Lincoln South Rotary Club Board at the end of the last Rotary Year but was unable to attend the Changing of the Guard meeting.
