The International Quilt Study Center & Museum at the University of Nebraska was first established with a gift from Ardis and Robert James who included a caveat that a program of study be established.
The mission of Nebraska VR: We help people with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain employment while helping businesses recruit, train, and retain employees with disabilities.
Brock explained that his responsibility is matching people with employers for long-term employment.
Chan Tyrrell provided a vocational presentation on January 27. He was in the floral business and then fundraising. Most recently he retired from the Tabitha Foundation.

A traditional part of our high school scholarship awards is that we provide gift bags to the finalists and their school counselors.
We need a coordinator for these gift bags. If we do not have a coordinator we will drop the gift bag aspect of the scholarship program. This year the scholarships will be awarded in April.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) in District 5650 is a weekend camp program. This year it will be April 7 (noon) to April 9 (noon) at Camp Kitaki in Louisville. RYLA programs focus on leadership and provide an opportunity for the participants to practice what they have learned. Click here for the District 5650 RYLA Website Page.

Lincoln South Rotary supports projects and activities in many ways. We can periodically provide funds through grant programs. There are grants available through the Lincoln South Rotary Club Foundation as well as matching grants through Rotary District 5650.
Our projects are typically $500, $1000 or $2000. The projects come from our membership. If you have an idea, please share it with Clay Ehlers, Nicki Klein or Lance Odom.
