Human Rights and Peace Studies

Matthew Mullen recently concluded his tenure as Lecturer at the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP), Mahdiol University, Thailand. During his PhD research, Mullen focused on oppression and resistance in North Korea, Thailand, and Myanmar.  In 2016, he published Pathways that Changed Myanmar, released through Zed Books. Mullen recently returned to his hometown Lincoln where he consults on human rights, peace, development, and security. He is currently focusing on a project in the Ethiopian Dairy Sector for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (2016-Present).
