In 2020, I left the corporate world to stay home with my middle school-aged kids, but keeping busy has always been part of who I am. While home during the pandemic, I turned my love for travel into a hobby that quickly took off, launching Nova Vacations (named after my daughters, Nola and Eva).
What began as a solo venture soon grew as friends, colleagues, and referrals reached out, and today it’s a thriving agency with 14 advisors and counting. My husband, Ben Baumfalk, has played a key role in our growth, developing and launching LUMA Travel Co., our new travel advisor training program, in January 2025.
