Sales Tax for Roads

Wendy Birdsall is president of the Lincoln (NE) Chamber of Commerce and the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development. As chamber president, she also has oversight of the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau. The chamber is Accredited with Five Stars by the U.S. Chamber. The partnership was recognized with gold awards by the International Economic Development Council for its website and print brochure.

Birdsall serves on the University of Nebraska Bureau of Business Research Advisory Committee, the Nebraska Dream It Do It, the Community Advisory Council for Lincoln Public Schools, and the Lincoln Community Learning Centers. She is a past co-chair of the West Haymarket Development project and served on the 2015 Community Development initiative. She served as director on the American Chamber of Commerce Board and area director for District 2 of the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce

A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Birdsall attended graduate school at Indiana University Purdue University-Indianapolis. She completed the Certified Chamber Executive Program and is a graduate of the U.S. Chamber's Institute for Organization Management, and the Oklahoma University Economic Development Institute.
