During the Lincoln South Rotary Club meeting on August 3 we got to hear a Member Moment from Emira Ibrahmipasic.
We don't get to see Emira much - so we all had lots to learn about here.

Emira is an Assistant Director and Assistant Professor of Practice at UNL in Global Studies.

She is originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, arriving in Lincoln in 1995 as part of the Refugee Resettlement Program.  She went away for undergraduate and graduate school, but returned in 2010.

Emira loves doing things in the community - and the motto Service Above Self. Working with RYLA these past 4 years has been a highlight for her community engagement and she hopes to continue to do it for years to come..

She just returned from a trip to Cambodia and Vietnam and experienced 100% humidity - she will never complain about Nebraska summer humidity again.
