An important resource for food insecurity is the Food Bank of Lincoln. The Food Bank depends on the generosity of our community to make a difference in so many lives. What is amazing is how a gift of only fifty dollars can provide almost 150 meals.
Over the past ten years,Lincoln South Rotary established a tradition of supporting our local Food Bank over the December holidays. Members of our Club have been very generous in their support. Our hope is that this season our members will continue that generosity.
At the Lincoln South Rotary December 8th meeting, we are going to share our historic generosity again with the Food Bank of Lincoln. We will pass the baskets for monetary donations, or you can purchase needed food items to bring to our meeting on the 8th (see list).
