The Lincoln South Rotary Club Foundation asked club members to submit applications for a $2,000 grant.
A number of applications were received. The strategic focus of the Lincoln South Rotary Foundation is to support nonprofit organizations supporting youth and education.
One grant in the amount of $2000 will be presented during the upcoming wine tasting event. This year's recipient is:Villa Marie Home & School for Exceptional Children
Through Villa Maria, students are given the resources to help other students who are struggling - such as going through homelessness. Villa Maria provides a suitcase with items that will help the student as they transition through their life changes especially as they are in the foster care system.
