Thank you to the committee led by Jim O'Hanlon, along with members Sue Merrill and Scott Delisi for their work on this project.

The club and members provided $700 in cash and the committee estimated the donated goods to be about $700. At least 12 Lincoln South Rotary Club Members participated and donated to the project.

From President Dave "I am very proud of Jim and his team as well as members of our club who came out in such lousy weather to make this all happen".

COPY OF SERVICE PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT:
Lincoln South Rotary Club will be collecting household items and food for Heroes Into Homes. Donation Day has been delayed until February 13, 2021.

Heroes Into Homes is a non-profit charitable organization focused on lifting our military veterans to a new level.  We provide direction, purpose, basic needs and resources to further their future and improve their quality of life.  https://heroesintohomes.org/

Our donations will provide items for homeless veterans as they are placed into homes.

When a veteran is placed into a home, all furnishings are provided. As they move to a new home they take those things with them. There is constant turnover of the homes and therefore a need for household items.

Below is a list of the items needed / not needed. Please review carefully - there are things they cannot use and do not have room to store.

Gently used items are accepted! No furniture, please.
