Jason Varga has lived in Lincoln most of his life - other than about 1 year - and loves it!
He has worked in the nonprofit field for about 20 years and is currently the executive director of a nonprofit called Cause Collective.  It is a membership agency of 112 nonprofits in the Lincoln area, working to strengthen the members to better serve the community through collaboration, education and advocacy.

Jason is also a local percussionist that performs with the Plymouth Brass at First Plymouth Church, and plays freelance jazz drums around town.   He currently teaches about 10 students in his drum studio and in the past served as a martial arts instructor in Lincoln and studied in Japan.

He was recruited by Chan and Suzanne, but what really drew him to Rotary was the 4-way test.  He was a speaker at Lincoln South Rotary about a year ago and after reading it, thought, 'what a great creed, wonderful perspective and high ethical standard.'

He knew then he wanted to be part of a group like that.

After fumbling around a bit, Jason confessed he is addicted to playing board games with friends - one friend nearing 50 GAMES!!
