Jeremiah Blakey works in the area of government affairs, educating decision makers in the impact of changes on companies and individuals.
Jeremiah was born in South Dakota. He is the middle child with an older and younger sister.

He went to school at UNL studying Agriculture Economics. While he was on East Campus someone mentioned that Senator Tom Osborne, who had a strong interest in economics, was looking for a staff member.

He applied and was hired and got involved in politics and government affairs. After that he worked in congress and for governors. He is currently at Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

Jeremiah is married and has three children - the oldest is in 8th grade, the second in 4th grade and the youngest in kindergarten.

What he loves about his Lincoln South Rotary Club Membership is the speakers.

One thing we may not know is that he is an introvert. He shared that he likes to stay in his head and that introverts are often misunderstood which is one reason he does better in small groups.
