On July 28, 2023, Lincoln South Rotary Club enjoyed an off-site meeting and tour of the Bryan College of Health Sciences.
There was a good group of 22 in attendance for this very interesting tour.
We were welcomed by Valerie Hunt. A student ambassador named Brooklyn gave us a tour of the part of the teaching facility which uses computerized mannequins to mimic various levels of patient/ nurse interactions.
A faculty member who teaches in the CRNA program explained how the mannequins are programmed and described how the teaching process benefits from this technology.
