Luke Ridder, Vice President
Luke Ridder is a Vice President at Hawkins Construction Company and the Project Sponsor for the Lincoln South Beltway. After earning a B.S. in Construction Engineering at the University of Nebraska Omaha, Luke spent seven years with Kiewit Corporation working on projects throughout the U.S., quickly advancing into field management. Some of the notable projects in his career at Kiewit are:
- $48million border fence project at the Santa Teresa, NM Port of Entry
- Structures Superintendent on a $172million Design-Build project in American Fork, UT
- Pontoon Casting Superintendent on a $755million floating bridge project in Bellevue, WA
In the six years Luke has been with Hawkins Construction, he has successfully led projects including:
- $92million I-29/US-275/IA-92 Interchange project for Iowa DOT in Council Bluffs, IA
- $68million US-30 Expansion projects from Schuyler, NE to North Bend, NE for Nebraska DOT
- Numerous other projects for owners including NDOT, City of Omaha, City of Lincoln, Natural Resource District and Metropolitan Utilities District
Alan Hayes, Estimator
Alan Hayes is an Estimator at Hawkins Construction Company and has been helping with all facets of the Lincoln South Beltway project. While completing a B.S. in Construction Engineering at Iowa State University, Alan interned every summer with Hawkins before starting full time in the summer of 2017. He has worked on a wide variety of projects throughout his time with Hawkins Construction, but the Lincoln South Beltway has been the largest.
