Thank you Mary Gilbride for presenting your Member Moment on September 7 at Lincoln South Rotary Club.
Mary is a retired judge - serving as a County and District judge in our area.

She grew up in Philadephiia and met her future spouse while attending law school. She moved to Nebraska after college and marriage. She has 4 children and 6 Grandchildren.

She was appointed to the position of County Judge in 1982 and District in 1998. She retired at the end of April 2018.

She feels now is the time to join Rotary - she is retired and has the time. Her husband is deceased. She is ready to build a new community and believes Rotary will provide that for her.

An interesting fact - she attended an all girl school and shared that the shield / armor was the same (St. Hubert Patron Saint of Hunting) as on the label of Jagermeister - stag with horns with the cross above it.
