On October 31, 2025 at Lincoln South Rotary, we will hear from Derek Feyerherm, Vice President of Operations & Development for the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Visit Lincoln.

Derek Feyerherm (pronounced Fire-Herm) serves as Vice President of Operations & Development for the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and Visit Lincoln.
- - started with Visit Lincoln in 2005 and became Director of Sales in 2007
- - he transitioned through a variety of positions and titles at the Chamber of Commerce, Visit Lincoln and Partnership for Economic Development
- - promoted to current position of Vice President or Operations & Development in 2022
- - he has assisted in creating the sports marketing organizations of the Cities of the Big Ten, a coalition of the seventeen cities in the Big Ten Conference, and Sports Nebraska, a coalition of fourteen marketing organizations in Nebraska
- - he served as the Civilian Coordinator for the Guardians of Freedom Airshows
- - Derek currently serves on the boards of directors of the Lincoln Lodging Association, Friends of the University of Nebraska State Museum, and sits on the City of Lincoln’s Events Team
- - Prior to working at the Chamber he ran a group home, emergency shelter and transition program for Developmental Services of Nebraska
- - he also did contract work with youth programs within the Nebraska Department of Education and National STOP the Violence program
- - Derek has a Political Science degree from UNL
