Open World Program brings visitors from Azerbaijan

The Open World Program and Friendship Force Lincoln partnered to provide a unique opportunity for 6 women from Azerbaijan. Lincoln South Rotary Club was fortunate to have them visit our club on November 9.

 

Open World, an arm of the U.S. Congress, introduces rising leaders of emerging countries to the importance of legislative functions in creating and sustaining democracies. This is done through the introduction of young leaders to the American democratic governing systems and free market operations.

 

This year the focus was on women and politics so the delegation was all women.
