Providing Dictionaries In Schools - Volunteer Opportunities

Lincoln South Rotary Club is participating in the Dictionary Project along with Lincoln 14 and Lincoln East Rotary. Dictionaries will be distributed to all 4th grade students in Lincoln.

There are two volunteer opportunities.

Volunteers are needed to add a book label the dictionaries. They are then packaged in boxes with the appropriate number of dictionaries for each school.

 

This work will take place:

March 28, 2023 - 5:30 PM (pizza will be provided)

Holy Trinity Church - 6001 A Street

The dictionaries are delivered to the schools by Rotarians. The arrangements for delivery will be made by the volunteer with the school - find a time that works for all. The sooner the better.

 

We currently have openings for delivery to these schools:

Humann
Lakeview
Maxey
Morley
West Lincoln
Zeman
Parkview Christian
St. Mark Lutheran
St. Michael
St. Peter

There may be other openings - such as a second person for a school - but we would like to fill at least 1 volunteer for each school before doubling up.
