Our Member Moment on February 26 was presented by Rich Morris who has been in Rotary for just 16 months.
But he pointed out that he learned about Rotary many years ago from co-workers and knew of the service the organization provided.
Rich was born in Chicago but grew up in Lincoln. He attended Pius school and UNL and earned a degree in Accounting and Finance. After working in accounting and State Farm, with time spent back in Illinois and then Norfolk, he was recruited for an investment position and moved to Lincoln. He and a partner continue in that field today.
He is married to Jill. they have 2 daughters and one son and are expecting their first grandchild soon.
An interesting fact - his father grew up in Chicago in the Irish Catholic community and his mother is from Paraguay so he is an interesting mix of Irish-Latino.
