The District 5650 Global Grants committee has selected Anna Singharath to be the 2024-25 Global Grants Scholar. Lincoln South Rotary Club has the honor of sponsoring Anna.
Anna has been accepted to Sciences PO Bordeaux for a master's in international relations. This degree is in line with the Rotary focus on peacebuilding and conflict prevention.
Ms. Singharath's future in the peacebuilding process starts from her background as a Laotian American and will continue as she enhances her French language ability while studying the integration of vulnerable populations into world communities.
She plans to work with other local nonprofits, providing services to those who have been affected by conflict, and creating a platform for cross-cultural exchanges.
