The Rotary International Excellence in Service to Humanity Award was awarded to Nancy Herdman, spouse of John Herdman of Lincoln South Rotary Club.
Nominated by Lincoln South Rotary Club, and submitted to Rotary International by District Governor 2018-19 Julie O'Hara, Herdman was selected as one of only 150 individuals worldwide to receive the 2018-19 Rotary International Excellence in Service Award.

The Rotary Award for Excellence in Service to Humanity recognizes non-Rotarians, including partners and spouses of Rotarians, who have demonstrated exemplary humanitarian service in accord with Rotary’s ideals.

Due to a health issue Nancy was unable to attend the Rotary District Conference so the award was presented at Lincoln South Rotary on September 27 by Assistant Governor Kiersten Hill.

Though unable to attend, DG 2018-19 Julie O'Hara wrote a letter for the presentation to Nancy - click here.
