Sue has been in three different Rotary Clubs - first in Minnesota, then Friend, Nebraska and then Lincoln South Rotary Club. Upon retirement she will be moving to Wisconsin so that will be her fourth and final Rotary Club.
From her first club she fell in love with Rotary - she found it was a great opportunity to get to know people in the community but also to become active in service to the Community. She fully supports the motto Service Above Self.

She enjoys delivering Meals on Wheels and the Dictionary project. While in Friend she like the Community Bike Ride and purple pinkie project.

She is a nurse by profession and has been in nearly every aspect of medicine. She said it is hard to turn off nursing and that she tends to constantly be diagnosing people around her. She had the opportunity to use her training on a daughter-in-law recently when she had to dislodge food causing her to choke.

She has 3 children in Wisconsin which is why she and her husband will be moving there after retirement. And, she loves to write.

She is proud that when she was a senior in high school she was the DAR award winner which is a peer and teacher based recognition.
