The Lincoln South Rotary Club Board approved Big Gumdrop Outdoors as a featured project. The club collected items needed for their programs - particularly fishing equipment valued at hundreds of dollars. But we also donated cash totaling $386 for Elijah to use to purchase specific items.
We heard from Elijah Riley of Big Gumdrop Outdoors on January 3. He talked about their program - connecting urban youth with nature - hiking, fishing and other activities.
