Suzanne Tyrrell was born in Minneapolis but her family moved to Lincoln when she was a toddler. She is an only child.
Suzanne grew up in Lincoln - she attended Lincoln Public Schools and UNL.

She worked in various businesses helping with administrative and personnel management.

She had her own business for 22 years providing customized HR work. Her company had branch offices in 5 states. After closing her business she continued to work as a consultant through workshops and other services. She got an extended understanding of nonprofits and their importance in Lincoln.

She has served on a number of professional and nonprofit boards throughout the years.

Suzanne and Chan have been married for 28 years - she had 1 son and he had 3. They have 6 grandchildren ages 13 to 30. Much of their focus are on their parents - Suzanne's 98-year old Mom and Chan's 97-year old Father.

Suzanne likes many things about Rotary - but she pointed out that it is important that it is something they can do together. She understands that too many activities take couples in all kinds of directions. Rotary has been something they do together. When they joined Lincoln South Rotary Club it was on invitation by Joe Roberts and the style and heart of Club President clay Ehlers. They liked the warm and casual atmosphere of Lincoln South Rotary Club and the importance we put on the 4-Way Test.

Something we may not know about Suzanne - she loves jigsaw puzzles by American artists. She usually has one set up all the time on the dining room table that she can work on at her leisure.
