Tribute to First Responders - A Community Says Thank You

There were 365 in attendance at the Lincoln South Rotary Club Tribute to First Responders on Thursday October 4. This was a special event where the Community said Thank You to all of our first responders. KLKN-TV ABC Channel 8 was a partner in the months leading up to, and during, the event. Grants were presented:
$1,000 to Shop With a Cop  in honor of the Lincoln Police Department
$1,,000 to Safe Kids Lincoln-Lancaster County in honor of the Lincoln Fire Department
$6,600+ grant to Crime Stoppers
 
The event was a great success. All in attendance commented on the program content and presentation. They also applauded Lincoln South Rotary Club for creating this event to thank first responders - there is no other event in Lincoln of this kind.
