Rotary Making a Difference was the theme for Rotary International during the 2017-18 Rotary Year. Highlights included the assembly of New Beginnings bags of personal care items for survivors of Sex Trafficking, inspiring and insightful presentations, networking opportunities, and awards presentation, and learning the Hula.

Congratulations for Kay Wunderlich for being named the Outsanding Club President in all of Rotary District 5650 for the 2017-18 Rotary Year. In making the announcement, a number of accomplishments were sited, including . . . 

Dr. John Herdman was recognized with the highest service award of the District - The Cadwallader Award. The award is presented to a Rotarian in the District who has made a monumental contribution in one or all of the Avenues of Rotary Service: Community Service, International Service, Vocational Service, Club Service and Youth Service. Lincoln South Rotary Club and members were honored at the District Conference July 27 and 28. Thank you to all of the club members for making our club great!

During the Rotary District 5650 conference July 27 and 28 in Lincoln, attendees will assemble 400 personal care / hygiene packs for survivors of human trafficking.

 

Thank you to Lincoln South Rotary Club for the donations at the July 13 meeting. The cash ($179) was used to purchase night shirts. If you can provide any of the items (read more) or cash, bring to Rotary on July 20.
