There are two opportunities for us to support 501(c)3 organizations with grant funds. What organizations or projects do you want your Rotary Club to support?
The grant applications are not extensive - it will not take long for you to submit your ideas.
In both cases, the grants are for organizations or projects in our local community (not International projects).
$1,000 Grant through Lincoln South Rotary Club Foundation; the focus of these grants is youth and education. Click here for the grant application. The Lincoln South Rotary Club Foundation Board will decide which to select and will invite the recipient to the International Dinner fundraiser.
$2,000 to $3,000 Grant which is funded by the Club and then matched with District Grant funds. You suggest the amount for the project. Since these are partly funded by District Grant funds, the application will be submitted to the District Grants Selection Committee. The Lincoln South Rotary Club Board is asking for member input and the Board will then decide which application to forward to the District. See the story on our Club Website or click here to view the application. These projects should involve Rotarians - provide a hands-on opportunity for service.
