Jill Becker has served as the Governmental Affairs Manager for Black Hills Energy since 2008. Jill is responsible for overseeing all state legislative activities, coordinating the state’s grassroots program, leading our BHC PAC efforts, and participating in various events with local elected officials and communities. She previously served as a staff member for several Nebraska State Senators, including serving as legal counsel to the Transportation and Telecommunications Committee.

Jill received her Bachelor’s Degree from Central College and her Juris Doctorate from University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law. She is a member of the Nebraska State Bar Association and serves on the steering committee of the Leadership Academy. She is a member of the Lincoln Downtown Rotary #14, serves as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Lincoln- Lancaster Country, and is active in several other organizations. Jill and her husband Duane reside in Lincoln with their four children.
