We had "stacks" of food by Lincoln South Rotary Club members for the Little Free Pantries January event. Five Little Free Pantries were stocked because of your generosity!

Here are a few photos that show the difference you have made with your January donations.

Also, as noted on Facebook recently, the Little Free Pantries could use some maintenance and volunteers to help would be greatly appreciated. You can contact Michael if you are interested in that type of work - avdude@me.com.

A special thank you to Bob and DeEtta Vrana who made all of these deliveries on behalf of our club!

They shared this story:

At 1119 Rose St a man rode up on a bicycle while they were filling it. They saw him at another pantry earlier - where there wasn't much to offer and they suggested he head to 1119 Rose Street. He arrived while Bob was filling it. He hugged Bob thanked him and said "God Bless You". He then filled his bag and rode off.

They made deliveries on Saturday February 7 and went back on Sunday February 8 to check on them. They were well received!

As they witnessed what was in the pantries and what people wanted and needed, they suggest donations of:
Canned Tuna
Canned Chicken
Canned Soup
Nutrition Bars
Peanut Butter
