On November 17, 2023, Lincoln South Rotary Club learned about The Rotary Foundation with Mick McKinley, Rotary District 5650 Foundation Chair - including Rotary Jeopardy.
Mick started by expressing his gratitude to the members of Lincoln South Rotary Club for their ongoing generous giving to The Rotary Foundation.
He talked about the Charity Navigator ranking of The Rotary Foundation - 4 Star Rating for 15 years in a row. It is because of good stewardship and efficient administration that we consistently get that good rank.
He told us that The Rotary Foundation is making a push to increase giving to the permanent fund - the endowment. Members are encouraged to consider Bequest Society and Benefactor giving to support the endowment.

BIO:
Mick McKinley retired after a 43-year Banking career in July 2018 as the Market President of US Bank in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Mick joined Rotary in 1996 as a member of the Lincoln #14 Rotary Club and served as an auction committee chair and Board member. He joined the Council Bluffs Noon Rotary Club in 2009 and served as Club President in 2012-2013. He is a graduate of the Rotary Leadership Institute and has served as Global Grants chair and Assistant Governor at the district level before serving as District 5650 Governor in the 2019-20 Rotary year.
Mick assumed the role of District Rotary Foundation Committee Chair (DRFCC) in July of this year and will serve in that position through the 2024-25 year. He is Multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor and Bequest Society member as well as a Paul Harris Society member.
