A big thank you to Lincoln South Rotary Club Member Bob Vrana for serving both Lincoln South Rotary Club and Tabitha Meals on Wheels on January 17. Read the story below and learn how we can all help.
Lincoln South Rotary Club has provided volunteers for the Tabitha Meals on Wheels (MOW) program for a number of years. We have members who currently deliver every Tuesday of the month.
Friday, January 17, caused some problems for MOW as many volunteers were unable to serve due to the weather. It was described as a crisis!
Bob Vrana went above-and-beyond. He started by setting up the meeting room for Lincoln South Rotary Club. He arranged to have others take down and transport the meeting equipment after the meeting.
He then left to deliver Meals on Wheels to fill in spots where some volunteers had cancelled.
