A welcome message from Lincoln South Rotary

Greetings!  We invite you to join us at an upcoming meeting where you can become involved with Rotary: Making a Difference!  To see the listing of speakers click here.

Since our club was chartered in 1984, we have worked diligently to live up to the Rotary International motto “Service above Self.” Our members are a diverse group of community members who work in a wide variety of professions and are united in their desire to improve their community, their nation, and humanity across the world.

Lincoln South has a proud tradition of excellence and leadership in Rotary International District 5650. Our club has earned numerous district-wide awards with several of our members earning international recognition. Lincoln South Rotarians are among 1.4 million Rotary members in 46,000 clubs across 200 countries.

Our club serves its community through numerous ongoing projects including collecting food for the local food pantry, providing donations for disaster relief, delivering meals to shut-ins and warding college scholarships to high school students. At the international level we have helped in the effort to eradicate polio (we’re almost there); supported health, hunger, and water purification projects in Zambia; and sponsored an orphanage and mentoring programs for displaced people in the Republic of Georgia.

None of these projects would be possible without the time, talent, and financial support of our members.  However, Lincoln South Rotary is not all work. We enjoy our projects as well as the various social events throughout the year, along with our weekly luncheon meetings.

We would be delighted to have you join us for our luncheon meeting at noon on Fridays in the private dining rooms at The Venue, 4111 Pioneer Woods Dr. #100, Lincoln, Nebraska.  For additional information, do not hesitate to contact us. You may also learn more about our club by selecting the link to our weekly bulletin on this website. We look forward to meeting you!
