Lincoln South Rotary supports projects and activities in many ways. We can periodically provide funds through grant programs.
We are currently looking for ideas for projects for a matching grant through Rotary District 5650. We need the ideas by May 10 so that the information can be included in the packets of material for the Board to discuss at the next Lincoln South Rotary Club Board Meeting.
These grants are $3,000 - our club puts in $1,500 and the District matches that with $1,500.
There is a short time frame for the projects. They cannot start until Rotary approves them (late-July or into August) and they must be completed by March 31.
We are not able to simply give an organization money or be part of a campaign. There needs to be a specific purpose for the funds. Ideally it would be a project that would involve Rotarians.
We lean toward projects that support smaller organizations - where $3,000 will really make a difference. Many of our projects also focus on children and education.
It is not necessary for an extensive application at this time. Provide some basic information:
