We will hear from Charley Friedman on September 30, 2022 at Lincoln South Rotary Club. His topic is "Art and Place and how they have influenced each other".

We will hear from Dr. Shane Farritor, Lederer Professor of Engineering UNL on September 23, 2022 at Lincoln South Rotary Club. He has titled his presentation "A New Approach to Robotic Surgery from The University of Nebraska".

The tour will be in Lincoln October 6 with a stop at the International Quilt Museum in the morning. At 5:30 PM there will be a group photo of all Rotarians at the Cascade "Teachers" Fountain (1222 S 27th St) followed by a social and fundraiser at The Copper Kettle (230 N 12th Suite 1) at 6:30 PM. Lincoln South Rotary Club Members have an opportunity to participate in tree planting in the Fall of 2022. The club applied to the District for a matching grant to provide replacement trees to low to moderate income residential neighborhoods in Lincoln.

The Annual Salute to Business by the Rotary Clubs of Lincoln honors a company in Lincoln. All Rotarians were invited to vote to determine the recipient of the annual award.

Membership Chair Suzanne Tyrrell shared information about the couples that we have in Lincoln South Rotary Club. These couples provide double strength and support and they have fun sharing Rotary experiences. 

We heard from our newest member - Suchitra Pattnaik - during h34 Member Moment on September 16, 2022 at Lincoln South Rotary Club.

Lincoln South Rotary Club has a long-standing tradition of strong support of The Rotary International Foundation.  When a member has accumulated a total of $1,000 in donations, they are named a Paul Harris Fellow.
