Former Lincoln South Rotary Member Dick Miller Passes AwayFormer member, Dick Miller, passed away on August 23 at the age of 103. Dick regularly attended Lincoln South Rotary during his 12 years as a member. Prior to Lincoln South he held memberships Plattsmouth as well as Arizona and Colorado, starting his Rotary service in 2002. We enjoyed Dick and Kaye's presence at the Club Social Events. Books for Ukrainian and Afghan Children Purchased During District Conference![]() ![]() Kathleen "Kat" Ousey from Linked2Literacy was in attendance 6-2-23 to say thank you and she presented a short video. Linked2Literacy and Lutheran Family Services joined together to provide books for Ukraine and Afghan refugees. As reported earlier (and shown below) they were able to purchase books valued at $7,000 with the $5,000 that was donated during the District Conference.

Lincoln South Rotary Helps Distribute Replacement Trees - District Grant Project![]() Lincoln South Rotary Club, with matching funds from Rotary District Grants, supported a free tree distribution which was held October 22, 2022. There were 250 trees distributed to families in low- to moderate- income residential neighborhoods in Lincoln.
